Joe Westerman
Joe Westerman, born in Pontefract, England, is a rugby league footballer for Warrington Wolves in the Super League competition. Joe previously played for Hull F.C. and Castleford Tigers.
==Castleford Tigers==
Joe burst onto the scene in 2007 in Castleford Tigers NL1 campaign after signing from junior club Featherstone Lions. Joe played in most of Castleford's games and scored 2 tries in the NL1 Grand Final at Headingley. Joe was named NL1 young player of the year.
In 2008 Joe had a great first season in Super League for Castleford scoring 12 tries in 25 games. He was tipped for being a future England RL international. Joe missed out on the squad at the end of the season due to being injured for Castleford's final 2 games.
2009 saw Joe suffer a fit on the pitch in a game against St. Helens in a game at Castleford. Joe came back from that and played on through 2009 though his form slightly dipped.
